St Remio is a Melbourne coffee brand committed to sourcing high-quality, sustainable coffee while giving back and empower coffee farmer communities around the world.

Each year they fund ethical projects to offer practical support to coffee growers that live in disadvantaged parts of the world.

This illustration series was inspired by the Rwandan project in support of the female coffee farmers of Cocagi. The design celebrates all those people that we wouldn’t normally see but are behind each and every cup of coffee we enjoy.

More and more venues across Melbourne and Australia are now serving St Remio coffee and embracing their mission.

The design and illustration initially created for the coffee bags has expanded and grown into a full set of branding collateral: from take away coffee cups, to window decals, signages, merchandising and billboards.
