A family owned company, Gimoka is one of the biggest coffee roasters in Italy. The latest addition to their extensive coffee pod range is an environmentally friendly, compostable capsule that is 100% plant derived.

The challenge was to create a packaging design that not only conveyed sustainability, but also highlighted the fine technology that lies in each capsule.

The result is a packaging design with an earthy colour palette, paired with modern and organic typography that emphasises the natural, eco-friendly character of the product. Meanwhile a clean, simple stamp icon puts the focus on the technology used to craft the coffee pod.
